This secluded three-story Country Victorian home with six uniquely decorated bedrooms is hidden on our farm of 65 wooded acres. Enjoy the peace and quiet as you stroll through the meadows or walk the wooded trails. Unwind in leisure on the wraparound porch or the sun-kissed gazebo in one of the many rocking chairs. The cozy front parlor has hand-carved daisies on the mantle of the wood-burning fireplace in remembrance of the daisies in the owners' wedding. Floral polished chintz sofas, curtains of lace, tapestry chairs and living ivies bring warmth to guests in any season. An antique wooden chess table tucked next to the fireplace provides a reminder of the enjoyment that games bring to our lives. A large entry hall with two sets of double French doors separates the parlor from the formal dining room. Guests enjoy the variety of hearty country breakfasts served with homemade rolls in the dining room every morning. The dream of our B&B was conceived in January of 1980, becoming a reality in 1985 when we purchased the 65 acres of woods and meadows that we believe provides the peaceful setting for a relaxing time away. The Main House was begun in 1994 after reviewing hundreds of photographs of historic homes across the United States. It was built specifically as a bed and breakfast with the latest technological conveniences but the historical aspect of a turn-of-the-century home. A large split-level, fenced deck along the back of the house surrounds a swimming pool and hot tub. Whether sitting on the deck enjoying the view of the beautiful meadow and trees, swimming in the pool or relaxing in the hot tub watching shooting stars, you will come away refreshed and relaxed.
